Introspective and natural poems await the reader in this delightful poetry collection.  Kaufman writes “when will i know /  in the writing / that my last poem /  is written” from “last poem.”  His poems pose questions and make you wonder.  Kaufman’s writing notices the world.  His poems are quiet and thoughtful but also full of life.  There is a clarity to his poem images.  He gives us these lines:  “and in that almost silence / i could hear the music of leaves / as they willowed against a breeze / in their slow-dance fall” – such beautiful approach, carefully orchestrated.
