All the Best, Sumirasko.

It was indeed a delightful experience to go through the poetry collection of Sumirasko. It will not be out of place to mention that all the hard work of writing 226 poems demands appreciation. Rose, in itself, exudes its own beauty and grace but a garden full of roses soothes the eyes. In the same way, Sumirasko’s bountiful poems will be a treat to the readers.

Seven Sonnets Paperback – May 7, 2018

It was indeed a delightful experience to go through the poetry collection of Sumirasko.  It will not be out of place to mention that all the hard work of writing 226 poems demands appreciation.  Rose, in itself, exudes its own beauty and grace but a garden full of roses soothes the eyes.  In the same way, Sumirasko’s bountiful poems will be a treat to the readers.

Each of his poems will offer the readers with good surprises.  I say this because I was taken aback with his writing style of clubbing his imagination to almost all the life issues! The sensitive approach which the Poet has taken to convey his feelings through a variety of poems is mind blowing and marvellous.  Very few people can cover mundane topics as in his poems on “Lizard”, “Shaving Kit & Life”, “The Arrival of a Guest”, “Jermi, The Maid Servant”, “When the Owls Hoot”, etc.   Well, there can be no comparisons between two poets, because their imagination is different.

I will urge the readers to go through his poem “Philosophy of Life” which he has compared to a six feet high glass cup, and “Life Goes On”.  Another poem which is extraordinary is “At the Loss of Virality” where he has captured all the emotions of a Poet.  Any Poet will agree to his thoughts, because Creativity and Writing is a lonely journey.  However, Sumirasko’s offering will be able to keep the readers’ curiosity alive throughout.  The book offers lots and lots of learning.

Poets, I believe, are spiritualists as well.  Because, their understanding of life is different as compared to normal human beings.  They play with words and imagination.  Each and every poem of Sumirasko exhibits a deep understanding of spirituality. To the readers, it will look like, each and every word that he has penned, has come right through his heart and placed so carefully in his writing just like any jeweller places a diamond on the ring.  He has categorically and carefully woven his poems around the topics of Beauty, Nature, Romance, Heart, Mind and Soul, which I feel is a terrific combination.  The title of his book – “Seven Sonnets”, in itself, depicts the relevance of the number 7 which portrays about the mysterious working of our Universe, and all aspects of nature.

All the Best, Sumirasko.  My sincere wishes will be that your book travels far and wide, and the readers will be mesmerized with what you have offered to them.  It will definitely set them thinking.  They will have a fresh outlook towards life through your eyes and imagination.

Last but not the least, your efforts to combine serious topics with comedy and laughter will definitely be an icing on the cake for the readers!
