A REVIEW OF PENUMBRA OF INDIAN VERSES BY SONNET MONDAL

Sometimes you will pick up a book and know right away that you are going to enjoy the poetry inside. This was certainly the case with penumbra. The poems are as genuine as they are relevant to all would be poets that need to find a direction for their work.

Effortlessly, they took you to the place of destination. They eased you without pushing towards poetry gold. You will find some real gems here. It is all that you want from poetry. Even the cover, draws you in before you start to read the wealth of poetry inside.

This book is one of the best poetry books that I have ever read. If you don’t buy another poetry book this year buy this one. There are flashes here of some of the lost masters of the past. Without doubt one of the best pieces of work I have read. If I have to continue to review books such as this I will be a happy man and my job will be made easy.
