This Mixed Jungle

This Mixed Jungle

Author Name :D Everett Newell

Cement buildings, jutting out
Plastics holding all
Noise from man’s machines
Hurts my senses
Nature has been pushed aside
An unnatural wake of gas-powered rides
So many people in such a small space
No wonder mountains made of human waste
Steel equipment replacing humans
Aided by their artificial intelligence
Scary to think how fragile we are
Skin, bones and water is man
A probability of losing our planet
Faces our future, can we stop its erosion
Or are we headed to a perpetual end
As long as we reign, we will hold on
Best we can, we continue to live
In this unbridled world
Caught in a web of this mixed jungle
